We have had this tent set up for over a year and love it. We have a small wood burning stove to keep it warm in the winter and is a portable AC to keep it cool in the summers. We have a queen sized memory foam mattress, a love seat and some other furniture. It’s a great spare “room” to sleep in for guests.
We absolutely love our Avalon Optimus Bell Tent! It's such a unique space, perfect for the intimate events we host here. We've had it up for several months, enduring some pretty harsh Western NY winter winds. We've only had to replace the elastic cords twice on the high winds side, and also added 5 ft steel stakes to added support. Even with one stove, the tent stays remarkably toasty. We're planning to add a smaller Avalon to our offerings specifically for travel, as the Optimus is quite large and best suited for a stationary setup. Overall, it's a fantastic product, and the customer service has been excellent – they were very responsive and helpful when we had questions before and after purchasing.
